How to apply

Applications open on Saturday, 1 August 2026 and close on Monday, 31 August 2026. Have your three documents ready before you start: CIPC registration certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN, and a certified copy of ID.

Choose your stream

Apply to the SME or the cooperative programme, whichever fits your business.

Complete the form

Fill in the online application and upload your three documents. Apply early, as places are limited.

We assess and respond

Applications are assessed against the criteria by a selection committee, and you are notified of the outcome.

The online forms open on Saturday, 1 August 2026

Nothing can be submitted before then. Download a blank form below, get your three documents together, and you will be able to apply in minutes on opening day.

Prefer to apply on paper?

Download the blank application form, complete it in black ink, and send it to us with copies of your three documents. A paper application is assessed exactly like an online one.

Two ways to send a completed paper form

Upload it here. Use the upload page to attach your completed form and your three documents. You get a reference number straight away, the same as an online application.

Or email it. Send it to info@pmskillshouse.co.za and projects@fin-uwezo.co.za, quoting your business or cooperative name. Or call 010 035 0558 and we will talk you through it.

No applicant is turned away for struggling with documents or with the online form. If anything here is a barrier, call us on 010 035 0558 and we will help you apply.

Common questions

Does the programme cost anything?
No. The programme is fully funded by INSETA and there is no cost to participants at any stage: not for the application, not for the training, and not for the certificate. Nobody acting for this programme will ever ask you for payment. If someone asks you for money, they are not acting for this programme. Please report it to us on 010 035 0558.
What if I do not have all three documents yet?
Apply anyway and contact the programme office. An application without documents cannot be assessed, but we would far rather help you get them together before the closing date than lose your application. No applicant is turned away for struggling with documents or with the online form.
Can I apply on paper instead?
Yes. You can download the blank application form, complete it by hand, and then either upload the completed form on this website or email it to us with your documents. Both routes are treated exactly the same way.
I do not have an email address. Can I still apply?
Call us on 010 035 0558. We can record a contact mobile number instead and keep you updated by phone.
